About This Release

This repository provides a Q6_K GGUF model for

local inference using compatible GGUF runtimes.

Q6_K is a 6-bit-class quantization format designed

to reduce memory consumption compared with

full-precision model weights.

Quantization is lossy and may introduce differences

in model behavior and output quality.

No additional fine-tuning is claimed for this release.

Intended Applications

  • Advanced reasoning
  • Programming and code generation
  • IT troubleshooting
  • Technical analysis
  • Research and experimentation
  • Local AI assistants
  • Self-hosted AI deployments
  • Structured problem solving

Local Inference

llama.cpp

Download the model and run:

llama-cli -m Qwen3.8-27B-Q6_K.gguf -c 32768 -cnv

Local API Server

llama-server -m Qwen3.8-27B-Q6_K.gguf --host 127.0.0.1 --port 8080 -c 32768

Context length and CPU thread count can be adjusted

according to available hardware.

Quantization Information

  • Quantization format: Q6_K
  • Container format: GGUF
  • Intended runtime: llama.cpp
  • Additional training: Not claimed
  • Independent accuracy benchmarks: Not provided

Q6_K aims to offer a balance between memory usage

and numerical precision.

Actual performance depends on CPU, GPU, memory

bandwidth, context length and inference settings.
