About This Release

This repository provides a Q6_K quantized GGUF

version of the Qwen3-Next 80B model.

Q6_K is a 6-bit-class quantization format designed

to reduce memory requirements while maintaining

relatively high numerical precision.

Quantization is lossy and may introduce differences

compared with the original full-precision model.

No additional fine-tuning is claimed for this release.

Model Architecture

Qwen3-Next 80B A3B uses a Mixture-of-Experts architecture.

The model contains approximately 80 billion total

parameters, with approximately 3 billion activated

per token.

The upstream architecture combines efficient

attention mechanisms with sparse expert activation.

This allows a large overall model capacity while

reducing the computational workload per token.

Intended Applications

  • Advanced language understanding
  • Programming and code generation
  • Technical troubleshooting
  • IT infrastructure assistance
  • Research and experimentation
  • Long-context document processing
  • Local AI assistants
  • Self-hosted inference

Local Inference
